Review - Freeman Feeling Beautiful - Facial Sleeping Mask - Honeydew & Chamomile

This has to be one of the greatest skincare products of all time.

I was surprised by this. I didn't read the back of the package and I simply assumed it would be a paper mask but I love that this is a cream! It smells like honeydew heaven. The product feels like a normal skin cream and does not feel heavily oily. It does eventually absorb away into my skin, leaving it feeling very hydrated. However, I had a weird cut on my face that stung (not painful at all, just a strange feeling upon the skin) a bit after putting this on. When I used this again on the same spot, it didn't sting at all. I'm not sure what the science is behind that but I'm still very pleased with this product.

When I woke up in the morning, so many blemishes had healed! I have a problem with acne with some minor scars and this made my skin look so much smoother. It didn't cure my acne, but it helped and I am extremely appreciative of that. My skin didn't feel oily at all, just smooth and nice!

I'm not sure why they put so much product in the packet. I use the teeniest bit, even the swatch above is too much for my skin. I really only use about half of that if I feel my skin needs extra hydration. I keep the remaining product in my refrigerator.

I used this again the next night but my skin did feel a little on the oilier side, which lets me know that this is not a product that I can use every night. I'm sure that some people can get away with using this every night! I'd recommend just trying it out and see what works for you.

Overall, 5/5. An excellent smelling product that works magnificently.

Opinion of the Sailor Moon Redub

Watch "Luna Appears!" and "Usagi Meets Mamoru".

Check out ClubSailorMoon for everything Sailor Moon! Also be sure to check out the forum, it's really great there.

First off, I love that they're using the original names. I don't mind the English ones, but I do prefer the Japanese ones.

I love Usagi and Luna's voices! I was a little shocked when I first heard them, but I just love it now. The voices are great. Luna's was surprising because I was expecting an English accent like the one in the original dub, but her voice is adorable! Mamoru's voice is really good too.

I'll most likely buy the box set when it comes out because I'm a fangirl like that. It looks cute!

I wish we had heard Ami's voice, Kate Higgins is one of my favorite voice actresses of all time. She's pretty flawless.

Overall, I'm pleased with just the three voices we heard. I'm so excited for the first episode!

Review - "Episode 1 - USAGI - SAILOR MOON" - Sailor Moon Crystal

Hello, everyone!

The first episode of Sailor Moon Crystal premiered and I had to do a review on it because I stayed up until like 3 in the morning to watch it and it would be a total waste of time if I didn’t do a review.

Honestly, when the trailers and the sneak peek came out, I wasn’t really impressed. I thought the animation didn’t suit the anime well and the transformation really did nothing for me. I really regret feeling that way because the first episode is excellent. I don't know how it could have been any better.

So, I’m going to separate this review into categories of anime. I’d talk about the writing but they followed the manga as close as they could get it. It was like an exact animation of the first chapter. It was really well-executed, and I don’t have any complaints.

MUSIC
The opening theme song is really cute. I like it a lot. The attacks and transformation theme songs were alright but nothing special. I do love the ending theme, however. Very cute.

ANIMATION
What I really loved was the colors.  The colors were dimensional and they fit perfectly with what the show is trying to accomplish.

When the episode started, there were amazing renderings or drawings of the solar system and then there was this beautiful one of Earth. Simply stunning.

It’s a little though disappointing because the characters aren’t always shown to be really expressive. Like, for example, we don’t always get to see the faces when they’re really angry, the characters have their faces covered up or we see the back of their heads. Body expression is very good though. I really liked it when they showed Serenity running and then she was being led by Endymion somewhere in Usagi’s dreams. I thought that was really well done.

MY QUEEN USAGI
Usagi was adorable. She was portrayed really well. I mean, like I said, they’re pretty much doing exactly what was done in the manga. If you didn't like her in the manga then you’ll most likely dislike her here as well. And if you've seen the original Japanese anime, it’s the total cherry on top that her voice actor is voicing her again.  I love Usagi in this new anime. Her hair moves around a lot which I never realized how much it mattered. It doesn't affect what I think of the original anime, it's still fantastic, but her hair moving naturally is pretty cool.

LUNA
I have to talk about Luna. Luna is a really important character and I wish she was always around. I thought Luna was done well, but there was only so much that Luna did anyways in the manga.

I loved it when Usagi kissed Luna, it was just precious!

I got the chills when Luna was standing on the brick fence and they stared at each other. Great scene! Luna is really good in the anime.

MAMORU
It was pretty sad how I was so excited to see Mamoru get hit in the face with Usagi’s failed exam. The way they met was really well done and I’m eternally grateful to whoever animated the tuxedo on him. He actually looks his age which is really great. He didn’t have a really big role as Tuxedo Mask but he was really cool. He looked so fine. Mamoru has a very cold personality like his manga counterpart and it’s really interesting. I definitely want to see more of him.

VILLAINS
And last of the characters are the villains. The main villains from the Dark Kingdom didn’t have much of a role other than Jadeite but he didn’t really do much either. He sent out the youma of course and then the episode ended with him saying that Sailor Moon isn’t too bad. He definitely isn’t as creepy as he should be.

TRANSFORMATIONS & ATTACKS
I really didn’t like the transformation at all when I saw it in the sneak peek. It looked like it didn’t fit in with the anime, I didn’t understand it. When I watched it in the episode, I dislike it a lot less but it’s still not my favorite. It’s not really exciting for me to watch.

I really do love the attacks though. She did this screeching that breaks windows and it was super cool. It was like Black Canary meets Sailor Moon. Moon Tiara Boomerang was AWESOME. I really wish that they animated the transformation to fit in with that attack, it really makes the transformation stand out in a weird way.

If you’re wondering how this compares to the older Sailor Moon, I believe they’re both great. They're both very similar, with just the tiniest differences. It'll all change in the next episode, though.

I hope you all loved the episode! <3

Sailor Moon Crystal Reviews Starting July 5th!

I wanted to make an announcement that I'll be reviewing Sailor Moon Crystal as soon as it comes out and as soon as I can! I'm a huge fan and I would love to have in-depth reviews. In order for them to be so deep, there will be spoilers. Sucks, I know, but that's how I feel I may best give my opinion.

So far, we have the trailer, an extended trailer (that's not really all that extended), and just recently a sneak peek! Thanks so much to Club Sailor Moon for being excellent at getting information as fast as they do! Makes a life as a Moonie a lot easier.

Here's what I think of so far:
